Biography

In 2011, in a little town in Lower Saxony, Germany, Kenneth-Marten Lück wrote his first song, failing to express his feelings with visual art. That may have been through a complete and utter lack of painting skills, but that's neither here nor there.

The germany-based singer/songwriter has been writing songs since 2011, with musical influences ranging from Tom Petty to Suzanne Vega. His unusual lyricism tries to capture feelings and situations from a different, more lyrical angle. Combined with a very classic rock- and acoustic-based songwriting, while still infusing the songs with some of his progressive-rock-heritage, he straddles the line between old-school in his music and modern in his lyrics. Writing the songs for himself first and not for an audience, treating the studio like a live performance and doing most of the instrumental work by himself (with the exception of the occasional drummer or guest musician) gives his albums a raw and honest quality.

His latest album, “the red fairy”, is a return to his folk- and acoustic-roots, presenting eight short stories about people regretting the past and fearing the future.
